Pumpkin Honey made near Lubbock, Tx. 75% made from the pumpkin fields – to describe its taste, not too sweet but savory. It is not just pumpkin – I recalled the bees being up by the Red River on Hairy Vetch. Other things blooming would have been Persimmons, all the regular wildflowers, Antelope Antlers, SoapBerry, HackBerry, some wildflowers I have never seen and Cotton was starting to bloom when I took the supers off.
