Nature Nectar moves their bees to the bloom in TX. We move our bees all over TX year-round. We then mix the honey we have made creating a honey with more pollen in it than your local honey. Giving you different types of pollen from all over TX in your honey, this allows your body to get used to different pollens in TX.

We require a large plot of native land with different types of native plants that has multiple blooms that provide nectar for our bees to make honey with. Such as mesquite trees, native spring blooms, etc.

We sell Italian Cross bees. The majority of bees raised in the US are Italian cross bees.

Our honey provides different types pollen from all over TX. The more pollen types you ingest we feel is better for you. You are limiting yourself when only taking honey from within 30 miles of your home. Pollen is moved by the wind, when you take our honey, you receive pollen from all over TX.

The best honey to purchase is raw and unfiltered. When honey is pasteurized (heated to 165 degrees) – the honey will lose the antimicrobial, antibacterial capabilities and antioxidant properties. Freshly extracted honey will contain bits of pollen, beeswax, propolis — and even a few bee parts here and there. While it’s not a requirement, many beekeepers filter honey to remove these pieces prior to bottling. Nature’s Nectar does not heat or filter honey giving you the all the best parts of the honey.

When honey crystallizes, it becomes thicker (if tiny crystals are forming) and cloudy as more crystals form). Some crystallization results in a coarse sugary texture and some in a creamy texture. You can’t prevent it, but you can delay crystallization by keeping your honey in a warm location near the stove (not the cold cupboard against an outside wall).

If you need that flowing golden liquid, place crystallized honey in a warm water bath of about 40°C (100°F) for 15 minutes or more until the crystals dissolve and the honey liquefies. You can use it when it is crystalized….it will melt in hot drinks, can be measured with spooning into a measuring cup the same volume as before.

Yes, to all the above – honey is very versatile and have many uses.
