Ingredients: 100% Raw and Unfiltered Honey
What is creamed honey? Creamed honey is honey that has been processed to control the crystallization formation. A “creamed honey seed starter” is mixed with liquid honey, the liquid honey mimics the crystals in the creamed honey seed starter once it is placed in temperature of 55-60 degrees for about 2 weeks. Creamed honey is temperature sensitive, if it gets to hot – above 75-80 degrees it will start to melt and become to soft and/or return to liquid honey. It can be put in the refrigerate for a few hours to keep it from melting. Typically it is stored at room temperature. Our creamed honey is smooth and no crystals can be detected. Creamed honey does not run off your spoon which makes for less of a mess in the kitchen when the kids are making breakfast or grabbing a spoonful after school. Texture and thickness are ultimately the only differences between creamed and liquid honey.
