Ours bees made a honey reminiscent of my childhood when my Uncle Junior kept bees on our property in Midlothian TX. He’d bring honeycomb from his hives at the creek to Momma’s kitchen window. Momma crushed the comb with her hands and strained the thick beautiful honey through a colander and bottled it for our table. The taste of this old-time honey floods me with good memories.
